Rich Robinson recorded his new album, The Ceaseless Sight, at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, and he returned to the scene of the crime on May 31st for a special intimate gig. 100 lucky fans were invited to participate in a rare musical event featuring The Black Crowes guitarist performing solo material in a “Storytellers” type acoustic set that also included a Q+A session. Some audience members sat close to the stage, while others had the option to watch and listen to the live session from the studio’s control room.

After the first set, fans were treated to an outdoor BBQ on the studio’s surrounding farm, where Rich came out and posed for photos, talked shop, and signed autographs. Robinson went electric for the second set, stopping and starting songs over as he saw fit in his own perfectionist way. The day’s event was recorded, and will be given out to fans who signed the guestbook at the upstate venue…
