Motorhead’s Motorboat Cruise set sail for the Bahamas last week, with bands like Anthrax, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Corrosion of Conformity, Exodus, Phil Campbell, Santa Cruz, The Dead Deads, Beach Wars, and more in tow. “The Loudest Boat In The Wörld” helped fans escape to the private island of Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau from September 28th through October 2nd.
In addition to catching the performances onboard, attendees could visit the ship’s own tattoo parlor, or participate in a number of very metal activities including artist meet and greets, a beer pong tournament, and even an actual ‘motorboat’ contest for couples. All in all, Motorboat 2015 aimed to create an environment “where flying your freak flag is not looked down upon, but paraded and appreciated”.
