YouTube sensation and ‘Loop Daddy’ Marc Rebillet let it all hang out at SummerStage in Central Park on Saturday night. It was a balmy August evening, but the crowd didn’t seem to mind – everyone started grooving early to an opening performance by Adeline.
For the headlining set, Rebillet brought out his newly formed supergroup comprised of DJ Premier (Gang Starr) and Brady Watt (Bass and Bars), and together they performed a steamy set of electronic improv. Fans of Rebillet lined up with signs at Rumsey Playfield asking to join the fun, and they were soon invited on-stage to keep the champagne party going well after dark.
