This past Wednesday night saw R&B and soul singer Macy Gray perform at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. The 90 minute performance included a number of songs off her latest album, Ruby. She also included covers of, Metallica’s, ‘Nothing Else Matters’, Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, Andrew Gold’s, ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’. Gray finished off the set with her massive hit, ‘I Try’, and the refrain “Everything is gonna be alright”.
