Lukas Nelson is currently gracing the stages of the Northeastern United States as part of his tour in support of “Sticks and Stones,” which was released this July. The initial hour of the show at Webster Hall was a delightful blend of well-loved classics like “Fool Me Once” and “Four Letter Word,” seamlessly woven together with fresh tracks from the latest album, including the title track “Sticks and Stones” and “Alcohallelujah”.
A noteworthy segment of the performance featured Lukas in a solo acoustic set, where the audience was treated to an intimate rendition of “Turn off the News”. Adding an extra layer of magic to the evening, special guest Emily King joined him on stage for a captivating rendition of the song. Their collaboration was a definite highlight of the New York City gig.
