Nick Valensi of The Strokes brought his new side project, CRX, to the stage at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on Friday. Opening act The Gloomies got the crowd going right from the start, and the energy of their set never faded away. Next up, Streets of Laredo kept the good vibes going strong, performing songs off of their sophomore album Wild, which was just released this past October.
The headliner took the spotlight after 10, performing songs off of their debut album, New Skin, which was produced by none other than Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age. The crowd went wild for the new music, singing along to every song including “Broken Bones” and “Ways to Fake It”.
