Gorillaz are ready to headline day two of The Meadows this weekend! To coincide with their performance and the launch of their new G Foot clothing collection, the band will host a pop-up shop in Brooklyn starting today and tomorrow. Stop by 5pm – 10pm for some some exclusive in-store merch.
The in store experience will allow fans and the curious alike to get inside the mind of the characters, with access to clothes and accessories not available anywhere else – including exclusive one-off ‘I heart NY’ character t-shirts – taking Gorillaz offline and onto the street.
The multi-piece capsule collection is inspired by the iconic style created by Hewlett for Gorillaz band members 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs and Noodle, bringing it into the real word and encompassing classic pieces including 2D’s beret, the “Rael” t-shirt worn by Russel and Noodle’s sunglasses as seen on the cover of Gorillaz critically acclaimed album ‘Humanz’.
