Green Day have announced that their rock doc, Heart Like a Hand Grenade, will see its theatrical release this October 15th on over 100 screens across the country. Presented in collaboration with Abramorama, Reprise Records and Vimeo, the documentary gives a behind the scenes look at the writing and recording process of the band’s legendary album, American Idiot.
More than 10 years after the album’s release, the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees present this time capsule that showcases the story behind Green Day’s Grammy Award-winning punk rock opera.
