It’s as if she stepped out of some long-lost David Lynch film about Lollapalooza 1993. Born Gwendolyn Lewis, DYLYN wears her influences on her sleeve quite literally, with Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age taking center stage. In school, she played hockey and listened to a steady diet of rock music. When she was 17, she started a rock band and is now prepping for her forthcoming album release (Spring 2022, details TBA). She’s making her US live debut, opening for Mother Mother on their sold-out North American tour, including a stop at New York’s Irving Plaza on February 2.
