The 2014 Clearwater Festival is returning to Croton-on-Hudson in Westchester County, NY this June 21-22! This year’s event will feature performances by Lucinda Wiliams, moe., Norah Jones’ Puss N Boots, Rufus Wainright, Richard Thompson, Nicole Atkins, and many more.
The family-friendly festival (kids 12 and under can come for free!) also boasts a kids stage, Green Living Expo, a Handcrafters’ Village, an Artisanal Food & Farm Market, and even boat rides on the Working Waterfront.
Founded 49 years ago by musician and activist Pete Seeger and his wife Toshi Seeger, the Clearwater Festival truly merges green activism and audience participation with diverse musical performances. As this year marks the first Clearwater Festival since the recent passing of both Pete and Toshi, the event will celebrate their legacy with great friends, special tributes, and environmental education and activism.
