Aretha Franklin, Sheryl Crow, The Wallflowers, Deer Tick, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Dawes, Houndmouth and more will perform at the first annual City Winery Open at Forest Hills Stadium this September 17-18. Hosted by City Winery and Madison House, the event will also feature more than 75 top wineries from around the globe, and food from 40 of New York’s top chefs and restaurateurs.
Everything will be sold in a cashless system using a currency of “tastes.” Wine options will be available for 1,2 or 3 “tastes,” depending on the selection. A glass of craft beer will be 2 “tastes,” and food portions can be purchased for 1 “taste” each. “Tastes” can be purchased in advance online or on-site at Top-Up Stations throughout the festival grounds.
