Slightly Stoopid’s Summer Session rolled into Berkeley on July 18th accompanied by an assortment of musical friends to fill out the bill. Included in the mix were Fishbone, NOFX and Stephen Marley, who together made for an interesting palette as the evening progressed to Slightly Stoopid’s headlining set.

Fishbone, with their highly-engaging front man, Angelo Moore, got things started and instantly set the tone for the evening. NOFX followed, and the energy continued to ramp up as the crowd was whipped into a frenzy on the floor of the Greek Theatre. Stephen Marley followed with a set that featured his own tunes as well as his dad’s – a solid gig that served as a buffer leading into the final set for the night.

Slightly Stoopid delivered a well-paced performance showcasing the broad range of styles that informs their catalog. The band was in top form as they rolled through the evening – excellent staging and sound as well as perfect weather made for a happy crowd and band.
