With just 30 days left, the excitement for Soundside Music Festival is palpable. Nestled in Bridgeport’s Seaside Park along the Connecticut coastline, this year’s festival promises to be the best yet. Music lovers from across New England, and more, are preparing to descend upon the festival grounds for a weekend of incredible performances, delicious foods, and a wide array of refreshing drinks. The festival, now in its third year (although under a different name), is quickly becoming a staple as a kick-off to autumn.
A Star-Studded Lineup
This year’s lineup is an eclectic, and highly curated, mix of chart-topping headliners, emerging indie artists, and even a couple of local favorites. The festival’s headliners couldn’t be more different from each other, with the exception of both being Grammy award winners. The first night features folk-pop singer-songwriter Noah Kahan, known for his self-deprecating, introspective lyrics about home, love, and mental health. While the second night features Foo Fighters, the Seattle rockers founded by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
The headliners are just the beginning. Soundside Music Festival prides itself on offering a diverse lineup that spans genres- from grunge rock to funk and from singer-songwriter to r&b superstars. Fans can look forward to performances from Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes, Boyz II Men, Bleachers, Norah Jones, and Teddy Swims – amongst many more!
A Feast for the Senses
While the music is undoubtedly the main attraction, Soundside Music Festival is also a celebration of food and drink. This year, the festival has expanded its food and beverage offerings to include a wider variety of options, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences.
Foodies will be delighted by the selection of gourmet food trucks and pop-up restaurants that will be serving up everything from classic festival fare to international cuisine.
