It’s no secret that music on the high seas has become a phenomenal trend for the concert and destination travel industries. Being able to combine a cruise vacation with the music festival experience has given travelers something to look forward to year after year. No concert cruise brings as much energy as ShipRocked.
In February, ShipRocked will be boarding the Norwegian Pearl for an unforgettable five-day trip to The Bahamas. In the festival’s sixth year, ShipRocked offers a lineup second to none, headlined by Limp Bizkit, Buckcherry, Black Label Society, and Sevendust. The lineup is rounded out by P.O.D., Tremonti, Andrew W.K., Living Colour, Filter, Lacuna Coil, Nonpoint, Otherwise, Zach Myers, Crobot, Thousand Foot Crutch, Wilson, Gemini Syndrome, and many more.
One of the great things about so many talented rockers in one place is the possibility of once in a lifetime collaboration performances. Until the cruise sets sail, the artists are tight-lipped about who they will be performing with, but all seem to acknowledge the possibility of jumping on stage for an impromptu performance with their friends. There are rumors that Black Label Society and Metal Allegiance will perform together, which would make for an epic matchup indeed.
Once ShipRocked is underway, the Norwegian Pearl is going to be a badass ball of energy. Fun and shenanigans will take place at all hours with music playing throughout the days and nights. Add to this an unlimited supply of food and alcohol, and the possibilities for a memorable experience are endless.
It all kicks off on Super Bowl Sunday (February 1) with a pre-party like no other, featuring Chevelle.
“The Sailgate Party” will feature a raucous gathering, food, drinks, gambling, football, and most importantly, high energy music. The Norwegian Pearl will then officially begin Monday afternoon, docking for two days in Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas and spending two days on the Caribbean Sea. Limited space is still available.
