Take a peek at a day in the life of Islander, one of today’s rising nu-metal acts. Photographer Amy Harris spent the day in Scottsdale, Arizona with the band to capture all the behind the scenes action at their record store signing promoting Islander’s new release, Power Under Control.
Later that night, the band, featuring an all-star line-up of Mikey Carvajal (vocals), J.R. Bareis (guitar), Ezekiel Vasquez (bass), and former Avenged Sevefold member Arin Ilejay on drums, played an incredible show at Pub Rock in front of a sea of simply die-hard fans.
After the show around 1am, Mikey Carvajal had one more stop to make before the night was complete – to visit the grave of WWE legend “Eddie” Guerrero, which was located in a cemetery near the venue.
