Spend a day in the life of Charming Liars, who are currently on the road plugging the killer new EP, 12:31. The LA based rock band with London roots is touring North America with Black Audio and Night Riots, and we got to tag along for a few shows. Photographer Amy Harris went behind-the-scenes with this band-on-the-rise, capturing moments on and off-stage as Charming Liars performed Midwestern stops at the Turf Club in St. Paul, MN and Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL.
Together Karnig Manoukian (guitars), Mike Kruger (bass), RJ Shankle (drums), and new lead singer Kiliyan Maquire powered through their set with a LA sound that’s fesitval-ready. There’s no doubt – this band is poised for big stages across the country. Check them out here in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom on May 22.
