With a brand-new album and a revamped lineup, the MC5 took to the stage at Warsaw in Brooklyn on Sunday night. As original guitarist Wayne Kramer joked, “Some bands take two years between albums, we take fifty.” Mixing in their classic hits ‘Kick Out the Jams’, ‘Ramblin’ Rose’, and ‘Looking at You’, with songs off their newest album, Heavy Lifting, MC5 played a tight rocking set of music to the faithful.
