This past Sunday afternoon saw the return of the 2nd annual Brooklyn Army Terminal Block Party at Sunset Park. The free event nestled behind the newly restored warehouses and waterfront, included carnival rides, crafts, face painting, and balloon animals for the kids.
Adults were treated to craft beers from KCBC, Singlecut, and more, while delicious ice cream and snacks from The Konery, and Mums Kitchen were available as well.
Musical highlights from the day included sets from The Soul Rebels, who were joined by Brooklyn legend Talib Kweli and a headlining slot from female pop singer, Jojo.
With over 3,000 attendees, the free event was deemed a success by hosts, New York City Economic Development Corporation who can’t wait to get started on next year’s event.
