On Friday night, the Marcus King Band performed in front of a sold-out crowd at New York’s Irving Plaza. The band’s set focused mainly on new tunes “8 a.m.”, “Side Door” and “Homesick”, off the latest album, Carolina Confessions. Special guests for the evening included Snarky Puppy‘s saxophonist Chris Bullock in the middle of the show, and Eric Krasno during the encore, “How Long”.
