This is your friendly reminder that, well, girls run the world. And on International Women’s Day, the charity photo exhibition, “I’m Every Woman”, will celebrate the badass females in the art world – both those in front of the camera, and behind it.
Featuring photos of incredible female artists by some of the music scene’s top female photographers, “I’m Every Woman” is coming to Marcy North in Williamsburg on March 8. Come feast your eyes on a very special collection of images curated by our favorite rock n roll fashion line, Distortion Unplugged.
The event runs from 6-10PM and will include free drinks, snacks, massage chairs, and a chance to win some swag from the good people at Lomography, too!
100% of the proceeds from photography and t-shirt sales will be donated to My Sisters’ Place, an organization supporting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking, in seeking safety, self-determination, and justice.
The following photographers will be featured in the exhibit:
Dana Distortion
Jessica Lehrman
Piper Ferguson
Katarina Benzova
Jen Maler
Amanda Hatfield
Silvia Saponaro
