Father John Misty has shared a new ‘official’ version of ‘Real Love Baby’, a song he dropped on Soundcloud a few months back. Everyone’s favorite outspoken artist has had a big week in the news, from his political rant at the XPoNential Music Festival to his Chipotle confession in the middle of his set at Newport Folk Festival.
According to Consequence of Sound, Misty (aka J Tillman) revealed that he was offered a quarter of a million dollars to cover Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” for Chipotle. “Yep, that’s my life,” he joked. “I was like, ‘Cool, so then I can just buy like two Cadillacs and just crash them together. I don’t want your fucking burrito money.”
