Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, the all-star Grateful Dead tribute featuring Russo, Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz, and Tom Hamilton, hit up the historic Capitol Theatre for a special performance on December 27th. Billed as ‘five dudes, one lava lamp’, the gig included Dead classics like ‘Truckin’, ‘Shakedown Street’, ‘Scarlet Begonias’, and ‘Fire on the Mountain’.
